Yay! It's Leap Day

Happy Leap Day!

In our busy world we all feel the restrictions of time. There is so much we would like to do, but finding the time to do it is a challenge.

This year we're all given the gift of an extra day. What are you doing with yours?

Wouldn't it be great if we all used this time to do something for someone else? Sure, we all have responsibilities with our families, our homes, our jobs, but what would happen if everyone looked at today as an extra 24 hours this year that we could use to give something back? What could we accomplish if we dedicated 24 hours this year to doing something for someone else?

I'm asking you to dedicate that time towards doing something for our Military families, and I think a great way to use it would be to make something to send to the child of a deployed Marine.

Let's use this gift of time to give a gift back. Won't you consider donating?

The happy bib pictured above is going to Lyndsay in Iowa for her new baby! Lyndsay's husband is deployed now, but hopefully he'll get to come home to his family soon.

Darling! And such a nice idea for the extra day. I've been trying to tie up loose ends. Seems there's always so many of them.

Where do we find the names and locations to know whom or to pick whom we'll be making something for?

It's a pretty sunny Sunday here, might even make it outside for a walk before I get tangled up in yarn.
