Thank you, Christine!
A box arrived yesterday from Christine in Michigan. In the box were 6 beautiful blankets for the babies! Each one is so unique and special. Christine used some wonderful techniques to create patterns and textures. The blankets are just lovely!
I included close up photos of two of the blankets to illustrate the beauty of her work.
Thank you so much, Christine! The new moms will be delighted to receive these!

Another Wiggles Blanket
This is another Wiggles Blanket that I made for Marine Corps Kids. This pattern is so cute and so easy. I think I'll be making more of these for the babies. I love the way you can play with different colors to make different looks. So fun!!

"The 2 Gramma B's plus 3"
This week I received a box of donations from Central New York. In it were some absolutely darling baby items including, a quilt, fleece blankets, sweaters, hats, booties and some darling snowflake ornaments. The photos show some of their wonderful work (unfortunately, I couldn't get a good photo of the snowflakes, but you'll have to take my word for it that they are beautiful!)
The note that came with the gifts read:
"...It is our pleasure to send you a few items... We are a group of Central New York ladies who are retired and love to do a variety of crafts, especially knitting, crocheting, and sewing..... God has so blessed us with these talents and we are very blessed in return to help those in need, especially the babies...
Thanks again,
The 2 Gramma B's plus 3"
Many thanks to all of you for supporting our military families with these gorgeous gifts!

Thank you, Pam!
This darling set was sent in from Pam in Mt. Vernon, Washington. The colors are so nice and soft, and the set is just darling!
This was sent in along with other items from donors in Washington. I mistakenly thought that they were made by our inmate group until I saw a note from Pam enclosed. Pam, if any of the other items where made by you, please let me know so that I can correct my posts and properly thank you!
This set will soon be on its way to one of our newborns!
More from our inmates
This week I received a box of donations from our inmate group in Oregon. Once again I am overwhelmed with the talent from this group! I wish that I could knit and crochet as well at they!!
The items in the box were not clearly marked, but I believe that these items were all made by the inmates (if you are reading this and made some of these items, please let me know so that I can correct this post!).
The sweaters, hats, dresses and blankets are just beautiful. I know that they will be cherished by the families that receive them!
Thank you, Molly!!
Molly from Oregon has been Very busy crocheting for Marine Corps Kids!!! This week I received 4 cartons of blankets from Molly.
This photo shows just a few of the 54 blankets that Molly made!! That's a lot of blankets!!!
Thank you so much Molly! The blankets are so soft and comfie. I know that our new moms will be so happy to receive them!
Thank you, Nancy!
Yesterday a box arrived from Nancy in Michigan. In it were some darling stuffed bears! Nancy wrote that she would like to donate them for the children for Christmas.
During the holiday season, we try to send gifts not just for the infants, but for the older siblings and parents as well. These adorable bears are sure to be big hits with the kids!
Thank you so much Nancy! I know that these bears will bring smiles to many small faces!
Thank you, Pauline
Pauline from Oregon is very dedicated in her crafting for Marine Corps Kids. Every few weeks I receive another package from her with gifts for the babies. Pauline makes lovely blanket and hat sets for the newborns.
This week I received two more. Thank you so much, Pauline! I know that the families appreciate your beautiful gifts!

Thank you, Alexis!
Alexis from Winter Springs, Florida is our newest donor to Marine Corps Kids. Alexis read about MCK on the Lion Brand website and was happy to find a group that supports our military families.
Alexis made 20 soft and warm hats for the babies! These hats feel so nice - the yarns are super soft and cuddly. They will be wonderful for our babies in Washington State and Germany this winter!! Alexis also sent it two adorable store-bought sleep sacks.
Thank you so much, Alexis!

Sets from South Carolina
Two boxes arrived yesterday from Columbia, SC. In them were 13 darling crocheted blanket and hat sets. There was no note in the box, so I don't know who to thank for this generous donation.
To the person or people who made these blankets - thank you so very much! The new moms will be thrilled to receive them!
