Frances from New Jersey sent in 3 boxes filled with wonderful store-bought items for the children! The boxes include stuffed animals, crayons and coloring books, clothing, bibs, bottles, baby spoons, fleece blankets and more!!!

We will send these items along with our hand-crafted donations for the kids. Thank you so much, Frances, for your generosity! Our new moms will be delighted to receive these gifts!!!

These photos represent just a small sampling of the gifts that were sent.

Thank you, Sassy Stitchers!!

The Sassy Stitcher group from Oregon sent in two boxes filled with beautiful hand-crafted items for the kids!

Their packages included a box full of scarves (which will be great for the older kids during our Holiday Gifting drive!), some gorgeous sweaters with matching hats and booties, hats and blankets.

The items photographed here are just a few of the wonderful pieces sent in by this generous group!

Thank you to all the members of Sassy Stitchers!

Thank you, Patricia!

Patricia from Florida is a first time donor to Marine Corps Kids. Her father was in the Navy and her brother served as a Marine, and she made these pieces with gratitude to all the men and women who now serve.

Thank you, Patricia, for the beautiful items you made and sent for the kids!

Many Donations!

My mailman was very busy today! I came home from work to find 7 packages of donations for Marine Corps Kids!!! There were parcels from Karen in California and our quilters in Oregon. Boxes also arrived from new donors in Florida and New Jersey.

I'm so grateful for all these donations, and I know that the military families will be delighted.

I'm working some crazy hours, so I may not be able to photograph everything until Wednesday, but I'll get pictures up on the site soon!

Thank you to all those who donated!!

Thank you, Karen in California

Karen from California is a new donor to Marine Corps Kids. She read about us in the write up in First Magazine. Karen's son served in the Marines, so she herself is a Marine Corps Mom!

Karen sent these 7 beautiful hats for the babies. These hats are made with baby weight yarn and are soft and light weight. I know that the new moms will be delighted to receive these darling hats.

Thank you so much, Karen, for your support!

First for Women

Thank you to Lynn from Arizona for the heads up that Marine Corps Kids was featured in First for Women Magazine. I haven't yet seen a copy of the magazine, but there is a small write up on Marine Corps Kids on page 120!

Hand made baby cards

These beautiful handmade congratulations cards were sent in anonymously from a donor in Oregon. They are so pretty and we'll use them to help welcome our newest Marine Corps Kids babies.

Thank you to the creator of these cards!

Thank you, Aunt June

June from Oregon knit these precious booties for Marine Corps Kids.

The photo doesn't really do justice to how cute these booties are! Thank you so much, June, for supporting our military families!

More blankets from Ruth

Ruth in Oregon just sent in 20 fleece blankets for the babies! I was in desperate need of blankets, so these arrived just at the perfect time. The photo shows just some of the adorable blankets that Ruth made.
Thank you so much, Ruth, for your continued support of Marine Corps Kids!

Thank you, Pauline

Pauline from Oregon sent two more sets for the babies.

Pauline opts to gift wrap her donations, so I can't show you the beauty of her crafts. These packages include a green and a yellow blanket set. Pauline usually sends a blanket and matching hat, and I'm assuming that is what is included here.

Thank you so much, Pauline, for your continued support of Marine Corps Kids and our military families!
