Gifts from Lauria in West Virginia
Lauria from West Virginia sent in a box of hats, sweaters, vests and booties for newborns and preemies.
Thank you so much Lauria! Your work is gorgeous, and it's always helpful to have things on hand to send to the very tiniest of Marine Corps Babies. Your gifts will be very warmly received by the families!

More thanks
To Marine Corps Kids,
Thank you for the baby quilt, hat, and booties! It was such a wonderful surprise when my husband came home with these handmade gifts. We've only just moved to CA and don't know many people yet (we don't live on base) so your gifts were heart warming and very special to myself and my husband.
Thank you,
Alisa

As you can see in the close up photo, Anne sewed Marine Corps patches onto the teddy bears on the baby blankets. They are just too cute!

Holiday Gift Drive
Here in Indiana the weather turned cold today. Winter is approaching, and with it the holiday season.
As in the past, this year we will be sending gifts for the families during the holiday season. In addition to the bundles that we send for the newborns, we will be sending hand-crafted hats, scarves and toys for older children and their moms.
Your hand crafted donations are appreciated. We have thousands of families on the bases that we serve, and hundreds of children who will be delighted to receive a gift during the holidays.
Thank you to all our donors for your continued support!!

Another package from Diane!
Diane from Ohio sent in another package for the babies. This one includes 25 of her wonderful quilted balls, 5 hat and bootie sets, and 2 pairs of booties. They are all beautiful!!
Diane is preparing for a move, but still took the time to make these gorgeous gifts for the babies! Thank you so much, Diane! Your continued support is very much appreciated!
Thank you, Rebecca!
Today I received a package and letter from Rebecca in Oregon. She wrote:
Dear Marine Corps Kids,
I found your website quite by accident one day while searching for a baby hat pattern on Ravelry. I loved the idea of supporting military families in this way. And it was the perfect excuse to pull out the baby patterns; something I don't get to do very often these days.
Thank you for providing an opportunity to show military families their sacrifices for their country are appreciated. I hope these items bring joy to whoever receives them.
Thank you, Rebecca for your beautiful donations! The sweaters and hats are wonderful, and will be much loved by the families who receive them!

For the Babies
When I send gifts to the babies, I try to create bundles including gifts from several donors. The contents of each bundle varies depending on what I have received and have available. Generally I will send a blanket and wrap it around several other items to create each gift. It may include a sweater, toy, booties and hats. Each gift is unique and contains the love that all of our crafters put into their creations.
Thank you to all of our Marine Corps Kids donors who continue to support this effort and who make what we do possible!
