Thank you, Mari Lynn!

These adorable hats, bibs and slippers were made for Marine Corps Kids my Mari Lynn from California.

Mari Lynn is in the Navy Reserves, and shared that when her first child was born she received a package of handmade gifts from a group of Air Force Auxiliary ladies, and how much that meant to her. Now she is taking care of her own family while making beautiful gifts for Marine Corps Kids and other charitable groups.

Thank you Mari Lynn, for both your loving contribution to Marine Corps Kids and for your own service in the Navy!

Yarn from Kathryn

Today I received a box in the mail, and when I opened it, it was filled with yarn! Kathryn from NJ sent 5 skeins (including 3 huge one pound skeins ) as a donation to Marine Corps Kids!

There is a lot of yarn here to make a lot of baby items - plenty to share. If any of our Marine Corps Kids Crafters would like me to send you some of this yarn for your MCK crafts please e-mail me at: delia.mck (at) gmail.com

Thank you so much, Kathryn for the thoughtful donation!!

Many thanks to Judy, Tricia and Patsy!

Marine Corps Kids is lucky to have a wonderful and talented group of donors from the Kansas City area. These women have sent many beautiful items over the past year, and we're always delighted to receive them and forward them to our military families.

This beautiful crocheted shell blanket was made by Tricia, and edged by Patsy. The workmanship is lovely, and I know it will be treasured!

The adorable booties were made by Judy. The blue booties were made to match the blanket. I just adore this cute x-strap pattern.

Thank you, Ladies, for your continued support! It is the generosity of people like you who make Marine Corps Kids possible.

Many Hands

These magnificent patchwork quilts were made by the members of the Many Hands quilting group in Montgomeryville, PA. This group works out of the Country Quilt Works, and donates their beautiful work to support our military.

To all of you who helped to make these gorgeous quilts, thank you so much for your donations to Marine Corps Kids. I know that the moms who receive these will be delighted with your talent and generosity!

Basket Case

These are two blankets that I made using a basket weave crochet stitch. I love the basket weave because it's reversible, and the texture will keep babies warm.

These two sets will soon be on their way to Marine Corps babies.

Thank you Tina!

These adorable hand-crafted cards were made by Tina. They are beyond cute! The cards are embellished with stampings, beads and ribbons, and they are so cheery! They are the perfect cards to send with our packages to the new moms.

My apologies to Tina - I received these cards a few weeks ago and just realized that, while I took a photo, I neglected to upload it to the site. Thank you so much for your beautiful contribution. I know our new moms will love these darling cards!
