Thank you, Mary!

These precious caps were made by Mary S. from Georgia. They are soft and warm and I know that our newborn Marine Corps Kids will stay warm and comfie in them.

Thank you so much, Mary, for your continued support! Your generosity is so appreciated!

Change is a comin....

We're going to have a new address soon!

I'll post the new address for donations in just a few weeks.

In the meantime, please keep making gifts for the kids. The babies keep coming and there are many needs. As soon as we're ready to receive and distribute the gifts, I'll post the new address.

In early August, we'll be set up and ready to go at the new address.

Thanks for your continued support!

Happy 4th of July!!

In 1776, upon the approval of the Declaration of Independence, John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail, saying:

I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.

Tonight my husband and I will be going to a friend's home for a party and for fireworks. I'm sure it will be lovely!

Those men and women now serving overseas don't have the luxury of celebrating today with their loved ones. To all of our troops and to their families, please accept my thanks for all you do.

Happy Birthday, America!

Thank you, Sujo!

Yesterday I received a package from Sujo in Texas. Inside were these lovely caps and bibs.

I don't know if the photo does justice to how sweet the caps are. The baby colors cap has tiny popcorns around the rim that are just darling. The periwinkle cap is a simple mix of stitches that is so cute (I think I'm going to have to copy that one!), and the pink camo hat is just darling for a Marine Corps Baby Girl! The two neopolitan bibs are made with a super soft cotton, that feels as delicious as they look.

Thank you so much, Sujo! Your work is lovely, and our new moms are sure to be delighted when they receive these gifts!!!
